Masked gunmen robbed a Vieux Fort bakery, escaping with over one thousand dollars in cash.
Well-informed sources told the Times that two bandits were involved.
One of the masked men had a shotgun.
It is reported that the gun toting bandit held up the Morne Bakery at about 7:00 pm last Thursday evening, July 14, while his accomplice collected the cash, estimated at some one thousand dollars.
A customer who happened to be in the business place at the time was also robbed of about three hundred dollars.
No one was reported to have been injured in the incident.
