Closure of John Compton Highway between Jeremie Street and Jn. Baptiste Street

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to inform the motoring public that the section of John Compton Highway between Jeremie Street and Jn. Baptiste Street will be closed from Monday July 25, 2016 and remain closed until Wednesday morning July 27, 2016 (5:00am). This is to facilitate rehabilitation works to the grills at the Castries Market Junction.

Traffic will be diverted through Jeremie Street unto Darling Road.

All commuters are asked to be guided by road signs which will be placed for their information and guidance. Commuters are encouraged to use the Micoud Street and Chaussee Road to traverse Castries.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to apologize for any inconvenience which may be caused during the execution of these works.
