WASCO Report of Activities on Distribution Network

Castries

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to inform customers in Castries of a temporary interruption in the water supply due to a damaged 14inch main at the junction of Jeremie Street & John Compton Highway.

As a result customers from New CDC area to Serenity Park are currently without a supply. Crews are currently working on the repair. Water supply will be restored as soon as works are completed and systems normalises.

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to inform customers in Castries and environs of a temporary interruption in the water supply due to a damage 5 inch Main.

As a result the City of Castries including, Marchand, Entrepot, Water Works, Lastic Hill, Lower Sunbuilt, Piats Gap, Lower La Pansee and all other areas being supplied from this network are currently without a supply of water. Efforts are being made to isolate damage in order to restore supply to these areas.

Water supply will be restored as soon as works are completed, however customers at the extreme ends of the network and at high elevations will receive their supply during / within 24 to 48 hours and as water systems normalises.

Golf Park Cap Estate

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to inform customers in Cap Estate of a temporary interruption in the water supply due to a damaged 4 inch main at Golf Park Cap Estate. Water supply will be restored as soon as works are completed.

Morne Du Don

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to inform customers in Castries and environs of a temporary interruption in the water supply due to a faulty Pump at Theobalds Treatment Plant. Electricians have been informed and will be attending to it today 25th July.

As a result the water supply to Morne Du Don, Upper Sun Built, Bois Patat, Upper La Pansee, and Yorke Hill have been affected. Other areas supply from the Morne – Morne Du Don Network may also experience a reduction in their supply.’

Water supply will be restored as soon as works are completed however, customers at the extreme ends of the network and at high elevations will receive their supply during /within 24 to 48 hours and as water systems normalises.
