NWU Submits Memorandum of Proposals

Clerical workers employed with the Saltibus Cooperative Credit Union have unanimously supported a ten-point Memorandum of Proposals submitted to Management on their behalf by the National Workers Union (NWU).

The proposals which are centred around a general wage adjustment structure, fringe benefits, loans concerns and improvement in working conditions will form the agenda at upcoming negotiations between the financial entity and the NWU.

The National Workers Union’s aim is to create some level of standardization within the credit union sector and to provide employees with incentives that would urge them to meet their operational targets.

The Saltibus Cooperative Credit Union has two operational bases – one in Saltibus and the other in Piaye.
