Senate sitting scheduled

PRESS RELEASE:-A Sitting of the Senate is scheduled for  August 18, 2016 with Papers to be laid and Bills to be presented by the Honourable Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Leader of Government Business and the Honourable Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Co-operatives.

The Motions down for consideration are:

BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament authorizes the Minister for Finance to borrow by means of advances sums not exceeding fifty-five million dollars from commercial banks, for a period of six months from the date hereof, which seems shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Fund.

BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament authorises the Minister for Finance to raise –

(a) a sum of EC$80,000,000.00 for refinancing the existing debts;

(b) a sum of US$13,000,000.00 for refinancing the existing debts.

BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament authorises the Minister for Finance to re-issue the sum of US$29,000,000.00, through ECFH Global Investment Solutions Limited.

The Inter-Governmental Agreement (Saint Lucia and the United States of America) Bill is down for consideration.

Thursday’s Sitting is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m.

    BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament continues to give the Minister for Finance Allen(the child,) large sums of cash / advances by any means necessary preferably in US currency to finance and continue to finance his many LAVISH TRIPS visiting FRIENDS AND FAMILY around the world, to BOAST ABOUT how he BECAME THE PRIME MINISTER of A GROUP OF SELF-HATING POOR BLACK UWP SUPPORTERS.

    Let us hope and pray for the good of the country that the speaker is in good health so as to be able to officiate. We all the situation is precarious because if the speaker for any reason can’t officiate then st Lucia suffers all because of uwp indulgence.
