Free Kick Foundation delivers student athlete awards

PRESS RELEASE:-The Free Kick Foundation, on 18th August, recognized four aspiring student athletes, during their 2016 Student Athlete award ceremony.  Each awardee received $500EC towards school books, $200EC towards uniforms, and school supplies (school bag, notebooks, stationery and a scientific calculator).  The winners of the awards were Kourtney Labadie,  Jahnya Charlemagne, Simeon Honorah and Antonio Maynard.

Aaron King, founder and CEO of the foundation had this to say about the program, “This is what the foundation is about – identifying and recognizing our student athletes, and ensuring them that their hard work is not in vain.  We honored today a student who was the top goal scorer in the Marchand Senior Football League; an under 15 female football national team player, and a youth track and field star who has represented St Lucia regionally.  It’s all about acknowledging these accomplishments and keeping our youth motivated.”

During the ceremony, The Free Kick Foundation  also presented football equipment to the 1987 Allstars Football Academy from Anse-la-Raye.
