Lions and Leos of Zone 3B celebrate mass in Gros Islet

On Sunday, August 21, 2016 Lions and Leos in Zone 3B, Saint Lucia – (Castries, Vieux Fort Lions, Soufriere Piton Lions, Gros Islet Lions, Micoud Lions, Leo Club of Castries  and the Hewanorra Plains Leo) celebrated mass at the St Joseph the Worker Church Roman Catholic Church in Gros Islet.   The church service was held to mark the commencement of our 49th Lionistic year (July 2016 – June 2017).  It was agreed that this be done as a joint activity instead of each club organizing and celebrating a separate services.   The service was followed by a Brunch which allowed the Lions and Leos to fellowship in a cordial atmosphere.  


This year our International President Chancellor Bow Corlew in his theme “New Mountains to Climb” has challenged Lions the world over to:

The Lions and Leos will next meet as a Zone on August 27 at the Cool Breeze Leisure Inn in Soufriere, when Club Presidents will report on their plans and rate of implementation to date.
