Dress code in effect for visitors to Greaham Louisy Building

The Department of the Public Service solicits the cooperation of the public to maintain an acceptable level of professionalism and office etiquette when visiting the offices of the Greaham Louisy Administrative Building.

As a result, the following dress code has been activated with immediate effect: bandanas, du-rags, halter tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, cropped or open back tops that expose one’s bare back or midriff, outrageously short shorts, skirts or dresses, t-shirts with offensive words, and visible underwear are not allowed.

Additionally, members of the public are asked to note that national identification cards (IDs) must be presented to gain entry into the Greaham Louisy Administrative Building, as there has been a spate of incidents where members of the public fake their identity in order to access public officers or officials within the building.

what nonsense is this- . This is a public service department. if it is all people have to wear, you expect them to go and buy a new outfit just to conduct government business. The public are your clients not your servants. Pure rubbish.

It is in every citizens’ best interest to own and wear decent clothing. There is nothing oppressive or ridiculous about the dress code.

Quite the contrary. We know SLP women CANNOT swallow that pill of defeat (Words omitted), so the attempts to degrade the office will not be tolerated. Please adhere to the new dress code.

interesting how the third cartoon is wearing a shirt with a “star” on it. I see the subliminal message in this. SLP supporters not allowed. SLP is bad. SLP is inappropriate. Everything done in this country has some element of victimization. The facially challenged wife of an ugly UWP supporter sat and wrote this after she found the text messages her man sent to the young ting.

It’s true that some people have too much exposed, however I see nothing wrong with spaghetti strap tops once it is worn with a proper bottom. So i think they need to review the dress codes

Growing up my parents always ensured that when they went to town to transact business they were dressed appropriately. This trend has stopped as some of us have no regard for office decorum. What exactly are we teaching our children. This level of professionalism has to extend to the banks as well. It is not acceptable in the Courts and should not be acceptable elsewhere. It is not buying expensive clothing but dressing descently irrespective of how cheap. We have introduced a dressed down system in the workplace and at schools. The school is a students work place and yet we teach them it is acceptable to dress down on a Friday. So what do we expect!!!

Its called discipline and respect. Our version of the White House.
People it is why schools and work places and churches have dress codes to teach you how to conduct your self in civilized situations. There’s picnic, beach, party and even carnival for the other clothes you have.
