SCSS Class of 2000 makes another ‘life saving’ donation

PRESS RELEASE:- The ever prolific and charismatic past students who form part of the graduating class of 2000 of the Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School have made another positive impact on the lives of the youth of Soufriere.

On Monday 19th September, 2016 the group also known as Co2 represented by one of its coordinators, Ms. Efedencia Jules made a donation of two life jackets to SCSS.

This donation according to the group is their response to the school’s new thrust towards initiating a swimming programme for students.

The school participated for the first time in the inter-school swim meet in the last academic year (2015/2016) and performed creditably though they had just launched the programme merely weeks before the meet.

The members of Co2 are convinced that SCSS is one of the most outstanding secondary schools on island given its all-round achievements in diverse areas of education and training including: Cullinary Arts, Sports, The Young Leaders Programme, The National Science and Technology Fair, Agriculture and several areas of academic development.  Co2 remains ever committed to supporting their past school and are looking forward to the success of the swimming programme.
