Three held in major foreign currency haul

Three men have been held by the Police after a significant sum of foreign currency was found in their possession.

The men, two Saint Lucians and a non-national, were arrested by Dennery Police yesterday.

They were in a pickup truck that was intercepted during a police operation along the Dennery highway at about 2:55 pm

The foreign currency found in the possession of the men included what has been described as “a large sum” of Euros and US dollars.

The men are currently in custody.
