Before elections you’ll will decrease it, think people stupid
Why does govenrment keep punishing people who use 100 ponnd cylinders of gas??? Prices should rise or fall on ALL gas products! And when is gasoline poing to come down??? So unfair of this government.
Let the hacks say that St Lucia doesn’t produce gasoline. Apart from Trinidad, no other country in the region does, yet their prices drop when it drops on the world market except for St Lucia. Gas prices have not increased on the world market so why is the 100lb cylinder increased. Some food for thought.
So I am being punished because I buy the 100 lb cylinder? Is it because I do not buy gas often? A bunch of idiots you all are! You’re making life difficult for the enitre population. But, then again, you do not care, because you can afford to buy whaever you want. Phillip cares is just a utipian dream!
Understand the SLPnomics. After adding more taxes on the people head, still giving the hotel and tourism sector quantum duty free concessions, etc and above all it is the same LPG going in the tanks but one based on volume you must pay more. Now who uses those? are the same business places who cook for lazy St. Lucian who in turn litter the pathways, roads, drains and empty lots with filth or waste. So, people don’t cry your nastiness you must pay for. Who will clean the roads, pick up your trash etc.? Yes world price is low but if we bring it down, the equation will be:-
1. More driving, more accidents
2. More take away materials will be decorating St. Lucia landsacpe.
3. More strain on our medical services
4. More police being called at accident sites, thereby occupying vehicle and police officers.
5. More trips to the dump site.
6. More workers along with equipment’s needed.
7. More damages done to our environment from accident waste such as oil, coolants, vehicle parts, etc.
… alot more
In the end who should pay for these?
Now that OIL is above the 200 weekly average price and going up, I guess the people of Saint Lucia will not benefit from the down trend over the last 8 months. Also Natural Gas is still below its long term average but usually starts to rise at the end of February. We will see if the government will keep subsidizing the price of gas as it goes up on the world markets.
Philip when you will realize that we are suffering in the country..Emancipate us please
