Who writes these press releases? In one sentence it says
“The price of diesel and kerosene remains unchanged.” Then later on it says “DIESEL – from $2.16 to $2.27 per litre OR from $9.84 to $10.32 per gallon”

Chastanet has a harem of very professional press officers in his press office. I presume its got to be one of them. But would some one answer me this: what is the difference in the system used to set the price of fuel by this government and the last government?

There was an insinuation of hidden charges included the prices set by the last government. Have they found out who is to be charged for that corruption? UWP made a big thing over that: protesting there, howling here, calling on people to take the to the streets over the price of fuel when it was in opposition. What has changed ? Nothing when it comes to what actually leaves our pockets. This man Chastanet promised to freeze if not reduce the price of fuel. I am still waiting for this to happen. One thing I know is that him and his family are no producers of oil and so cannot set price at will. The sad thing is he knew he couldn’t do that. But he said so and the majority swallowed it bait hook and sinker. That’s truly a carllot on the bare head!

My word, so expensive. Here in B C Canada, we pay $ 1.11 a liter Canadian and use the imperial gallon which is larger the the USA gallon. PGL X st Lucian from the 70’s.
