Daily Water Schedule:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of water schedule for communities in the Southern part of the island, for today Wednesday 5th October 2016.
1. CANARIES SYSTEM
Ø Main Canaries Primary System: In operation
Ø Anse la Verdue: In operation
2. SOUFRIERE SYSTEM
Ø Ruby: In operation (Ruby river source in operation; spring source in operation)
Ø Fond St. Jacques 1: In operation (Slight increase in flows at intake, due to construction of another intake)
Ø Fond St. Jacques 2: In operation
Ø Diamond 1: In operation
Ø Diamond 2: In operation
Ø Bouton: In operation
3. CHOISEUL SYSTEM
Ø Delcer: In operation; water pressure still low; water fluctuating to area.
Ø Saltibus Upper: In operation; lower system will be fed from this system.
Ø Saltibus Lower: Damaged 6” raw water main
o Affected areas; Gertrine, La Perle Estate, Londonderry, Gyabois, Opark
Ø Toucousson: In operation
4. VIEUX FORT SYSTEM
Ø Grace: In operation; BOTH INTAKES WERE REOPEN THIS MORNING; THEREFORE WATER PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE DURING THE COURSE OF THE DAY
Ø Beausejour: In operation
Ø Micoud Primary system: In operation
Ø Patience: In operation
Ø Belle Vue: In operation
Ø Desruisseaux: In operation
Ø Errard: In operation – Clogged pump at Bell Fashion has interrupted water pressure to elevated area. Electricians will be working to resolve this situation.
o A as result customers at Bois Jolie tank, Dennery Village (Rocky Lane, Green Mountain, Hospital Rd., New Field, Over The Bridge, Anse Canot. The water supply will be resorted as soon as works are completed.
Ø Thomazo: In operation
o Aux Lyon: Few lengths of 4” main line clogged; A as result customers at Aux Leon, Despin, and Ti La Resource may experience an interruption in water supply. Crews have been dispatched, the water supply will be resorted as soon as works are completed.
Ø Derniere Riviere: In operation
All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.
