The level of Reservoir at John Compton Dam has been recorded at 335.0 feet today, October 10th, 2016This represents an increase of 1.7 feet from our previous recorded level yesterday, October 9th, 2016.  

The level on this date last year, October 7th, 2015 was 333.0 feet.

Spill over is at 333.0 feet

Daily Water Schedule:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of water schedules for communities in the Northern part of the island, for today Monday 10th October 2016:   

Network News

 

  • Lower Ti- Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20, Fond Cannie, Cacao, Chicken Back Street, Upper Paix Bouche, Lower Paix Bouche, La Croix and Upper Garand from Resina Junction upwards were supplied yesterday.

 

 

Critical Actions for Today October 10thth,  2016

 

  • Lower Ti- Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20, Fond Cannie and Cacoa, La Borne, Lower Garand Resina, and Chicken Back Street are currently being supplied.
  • NB: The following areas will have a supply Upper Paix Bouche, Lower Paix Bouche,  La Croix and Upper Garand, however once tank level decrease customers in these areas may experience a temporary interruption in their supply.
  • Upper Monier from Fostin Development upwards will be supplied from tonight.
  • Des Rameaux, Ti Dauphin, Morne Citon, Ravine Macok, Malgretoute and environs will be supplied from tomorrow morning.

 

All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

Southern Network Update

Daily Water Schedule:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of water schedule for communities in the Southern part of the island, for today Monday 10th October 2016.

 

  • CANARIES SYSTEM

 

    • Main Canaries Primary System: High turbidity

 

  • As a result Customers in the following areas will be affected , Canaries, Belvedere and Flora Villa, and may experience water supply interruptions.

 

  • Anse la Verdue:  In operation

 

 

  • SOUFRIERE SYSTEM
  • Ruby: In operation (Ruby river source closed high turbidity; spring source in operation)
  • As a result Customers in the following areas will be affected ; New Development, Fond Beniere, part of Cresland, Anse Chastnet, Palmiste, Mago Estate, Fisheries Soufriere, and may experience water supply interruptions.
  • Fond St. Jacques 1: In operation (Slight increase in flows at intake, due to construction of another intake)
  • Fond St. Jacques 2: In operation
  • Diamond 1: In operation

 

  • Diamond 2: In operation
  • Bouton: In operation

 

 

  • CHOISEUL SYSTEM
  • Delcer: In operation
  • Saltibus Upper:  In operation; lower system will be fed from this system.
  • Saltibus Lower: Damaged 6” raw water main
  • Affected areas;  Gertrine, La Perle Estate, Londonderry, Gyabois, Opark
  • Toucousson: In operation

 

 

 

  • VIEUX FORT SYSTEM
  • Grace: High turbidity
  • As a result Customers in the following areas will be affected; Cedar Heights, Grace, Augier, Banse, Majomel, Laborie, Morne Beausejour, La Retraite, La Tourney, Cantonement, La Ressource, Dierre Morne, Industrial Estate, Hewanorra Orchard, St Judes Hwy, Black Bay AND Sapphire. The water supply will be restored as soon as weather conditions subsides and systems normalize.

 

  • Beausejour: River overflowing banks as a result system is still closed.
    • As a result Customers in the following areas will be affected; Vieux Fort town, Aupicon, Moule A Chique, Savannes Bay, Dierre Morne and La Resource The water supply will be restored as soon as weather conditions subsides and systems normalize

 

  • MICOUD
  • Micoud Primary system: No water entering system; investigation will be done as soon as weather calms
  • Patience:  In operation
  • Belle Vue: Low pressure
  • Belle Vue, Micoud of a temporary interruption in their water supply due TO Low pressure. As a result customers at Belle Vue, Demailly, Fond Joyeaux, Zaboo, and served Pierrot tank may experience slight interruptions  with the supply of water.
  • Desruisseaux: In operation
  • As a result Desruisseaux, Blanchard, Ti Rocher, Dugard, Pabouche, La Couville, Leslie, Domel, Anse Ger, Cannelles, Fond ‘Or, and Beauchamp will experience water interruptions.  Regular water supply will be restored as soon as weather conditions normalizes.
  • DENNERY
  • Errard: In operation – Inefficiency of pump is still causing water to fluctuate to customers on elevation. Bell Fashion has interrupted water pressure to elevated area. Electricians will be working to resolve this situation.
  • A as result customers at Bois Jolie tank, Dennery Village (Rocky Lane, Green Mountain, Hospital Rd., New Field, Over The Bridge, Anse Canot. The  water supply will be resorted as soon as works are completed.
  • Thomazo: High turbidity
  • customers served by the Thomazo system are informed of a temporary interruption in their water supply due to high turbidity, as a result customers at Morne Panache tank, Debonnaire tank, Thomazo, Grand Riviere, Grand Ravine, Deniere Riviere, Austin Hill, Belmont, Morne Panache (Denier Riviere), Gardette, La Caye, Barbarwa, La Perle, Richfond, Grande Ravine, La Belle Vue, and La Resource are without a supply. The water supply will be restored as soon as weather conditions subside and systems normalises.

 

  • Aux Lyon: In operation
  • Derniere Riviere: High turbidity
  • Customers may experience water supply interruptions at Deniere Riviere, Austin Hill, Belmont, Morne Panache (Denier Riviere), Gardette, La Caye, Barbarwa, La Perle, Richfond, Grande Ravine, La Belle Vue, and La Ressource.
