So just in case the police has the wrong person, Spoil someone reputation just because? Hate to say it but persons are innocent till proven otherwise. Publishing someones image and or name can taint the court process (innocent or guilty). How would you like it if the person is guilty and the case thrown out due to some stupidity like the juror pool being tainted? Then guess what you have a guilty person GETTING OFF. Also last i checked “IT IS NOT LAWFUL FOR PEOPLE TO COMMIT CRIMES”.

One of the most ridiculous laws ever passed in St Lucia. The labour government of Kenny Anthony made it unlawful for the media to identify accused rapists, just to protect their clique. Where else the world could that happen. Sad, sad, sad.

What I would like to know is that the real picture of the victim lying on the hospital bed? If it is why can’t they release the name of the person who committed the crime. St. Lucia is too lay back. We need to take action against that stupid law. What century do we live in. Really. That’s one of the reasons why people’s lives have no value any more.
