WASCO water supply schedule for October 18, 2016

The level of Reservoir at John Compton Dam has been recorded at 333.2 feet today, October 18th, 2016.  This represents no change from our previous recorded level yesterday, October 17th, 2016.    The level on this date last year, October 18th, 2015 was 333.0 feet.

Spill over is at 333.0 feet

Daily Water Schedule:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of water schedules for communities in the Northern part of the island, for today Tuesday 18th October,  2016:

Network News the under listed areas were supplied yesterday.

 

  • Lower Ti- Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20
  • Fond Cannie and Cacao
  • La Borne
  • Lower Garand including Resina
  • Des Rameaux, Ti Dauphin, Morne Citon, Ravine MaCok, Malgretoute and environs

 

Critical Actions for Today October 18thth,  2016

 

  • Lower Ti- Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20 are currently being supplied.
  • Fond Cannie and Cacoa are currently being supplied
  • La Borne is currently being supplied.
  • Des Rameaux, Ti Dauphin, Morne Citon, Ravine MaCok, Malgretoute and environs are currently being supplied.
  • Upper Monier from Fostin Development is currently being supplied.
  • Upper Monier from Old Water Tank will be supplied from tonight.
  • Upper Paix Bouche will be supplied from Tomorrow Night.
  • Plateau will be supplied from Tomorrow Night.

 

N.B –

Marquis Pump is faulty and therefore there is no raw water coming from intake. Electricians have not being able to attend to them because of condition of access road.  Urgent remedial work is required so that pumps can be attended to.

 

  • Water was pumped to Hotels at Cap Estate last night.
  • Water was pumped to Old Jack Johnson last night.
  • Water was pumped to New jack Johnson last night.
  • Rodney Bay will be closed this morning in order to repair damage mains near East Caribbean Villas. The supply of water will be restored after completion of repairs.

 

All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

  • Main Canaries Primary System: In operation
  • Anse la Verdue:  In operation

 

 

  • SOUFRIERE SYSTEM
  • Ruby: In operation (Ruby river source in operation; spring source in operation)
  • Fond St. Jacques 1: In operation (Slight increase in flows at intake, due to construction of another intake)
  • Fond St. Jacques 2: In operation
  • Diamond 1: In operation

 

  • Diamond 2: In operation
  • Bouton: In operation

 

 

  • CHOISEUL SYSTEM
  • Delcer: In operation; (Ian will be cleaning the sand filter. Please note supply will not be interrupted while works are ongoing)
  • Saltibus Upper:  In operation; lower system will be fed from this system.
  • Saltibus Lower: Damaged 6” raw water main
  • Toucousson: In operation

 

 

 

  • VIEUX FORT SYSTEM

 

  • Grace: In operation (big and small intake in operation)
  • Beausejour: Closed; all areas are being supplied off the Grace System

 

  • MICOUD
  • Micoud Primary system: In operation

  • DENNERY
  • Errard: In operation (With the use of mini excavator, contractor will be commencing unclogging of main line at the small intake; system is operating on the big intake)
  • Thomazo: In operation
  • Aux Lyon: In operation

 

  • Derniere Riviere: In operation

All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

    we need better announcements of these activities lucelec wuold pass through the community why cant wasco I work im rather disappointed when a weekend falls and no water to do my laundry come better wasco concern citizen from dennery village smdh
