Traffic Plan for Jacmel Jounen Kwéyòl

The Jacmel Jounen Kwéyòl Committee wishes to advise the general public of its traffic management plan

for Jounen Kwéyòl on October 30, 2016.

There will be a Park and Ride System in place at Total Construction Grounds on the Marigot Highway

with a Shuttle Service to enter into Jacmel. There will also be shuttles from Castries to transport persons

to the Park and Ride at Total Construction Grounds.

Please note that only vehicles with passes will be allowed to enter into Jacmel and will use the

Blackstone road. Vehicles leaving Jacmel and Bois D’Inde will use the Model Farm road leading to


The Highway from Roseau to Vanard will be one way for vehicles travelling from Roseau to Millet.

Vehicles coming from Millet will use the Belair road to get to Roseau.

The Jacmel Jounen Kwéyòl Committee is asking residents who live in Jacmel/Bois D’Inde/Morne Ciseaux

and Jounen Kwéyòl vendors who will require vehicle passes to contact Ms.Claudelle Joseph at 486 6356

with your name and vehicle registration number to request a pass.
