Woman injured in Anse La Raye explosion

A woman was injured in an explosion at Anse La Raye early on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at the Anse La Raye Fisheries building.

The woman has been identified as Brenda Minvielle.

She sustained multiple burns and is currently a patient at Victoria Hospital, according to information obtained by the Times.

The cause of the explosion, which damaged a section of the fisheries building, including the roof, is currently under investigation.

However it is suspected that the source was a stove in the building.

A fire truck was dispatched from the Castries Fire Station but reportedly did not go into action as there was no trace of fire.

    Maybe we should consider and uncover to all stones. Follow all possible leads. A stove, sure. What else could it be? I’m merely shedding different and possible light, opening eyes.

      Criminals are wise and educated enough now to make bombs. They learn it in schools…of course not directly, but indirectly and plan all sorts of attacks. Let us not become to comfortable and laid back to think it’s not possible in St Lucia.
