COCONUT BAY “HARD NUTS” TEAM WINS FOOTBALL COMPETITION

Press Release:-Coconut Bay “Hard Nuts” Football Team completed their dominance of the 2016, SLHTA Football Invitational championship when they defeated Sugar Beach hotel in the finals of the competition played at the Soufriere Mini Stadium at a night match on 22nd, October, 2016.

The Hard Nuts football team humbled their opponent by a score line of 3 to 1 during and exciting match which drew large crowds of supporters from both properties.

The defeat marked their second win over the Sugar Beach team who they also met during the group stage of the competition.

The Coconut Bay football team completely dominated the competition in every aspect having won all their matches, scoring the most goals (24), having the player with the second most individual goals (6) in the competition and conceding the least goals in the competition (4).

The finals featured a hat trick by Kerry Williams, one of the team’s dynamic forwards who scored two goals in the first half and the third in the second half of the match.

The victorious Coconut Bay Hard Nuts were cheered on not only by their enthusiastic staff members but also by CEO Mr. Mark Adams and Hotel General Manager, Mr. Karl Hallberg along with senior hotel Executives who were all present.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa are extremely proud of this commendable performance and excellent achievement by their football team. CEO Mr. Mark Adams who is elated over the team’s success says that this accomplishment has generated much excitement and pride in the general staff body which can serve to stimulate staff morale and motivation to excel.

The hotel’s Executives, CEO and Owner will soon be organizing an appropriate event to adequately recognize and honor the triumph of the Coconut Bay Hard Nuts Football Team.
