Unfortunately he stopped anyway. If he was in his right or wrong why should he run.

If he hit your car and run away will you sympathize with the biker? As usual, long as it not affect yourself people taking stand for the perpetrator.

What a Sad day it must have been in heaven, when cable TV was introduced to our then unspoiled beautiful Island showing the crimes of law enforcement and other crimes of the spoiled countries. For heaven knew there would be copy-cats. Let’s pray for our fellow St. Lucians.

First and foremost let me be the one to say that Rick you were wrong for not stopping. My brother the law clearly states that as a driver or rider you should stop when involved in an accident whether how big or small. Now that I placed this out there who died and made this office judge jury and prosecutor of the law. Is officers like that who give our police force a bad name. He had the audacity to slap the young man after he had handed him his version of vigilante justice by shooting the guy two times in the foot. Was this officer in any eminent danger was he fearful for his life so why did he have to discharge his weapon not once but twice. To go as far as slapping the accused after he had already shot the guy. This is definitely a case of excessive use of force. The RSLPF already has a little thing called the impacts report hanging over their head accusing officers of GROSS human rights violations here comes robocop taking the law into his own hands
    1) this officer should be immediately suspended without pay pending an investigation
    2) Rick my brother I would advice you to get a lawyer before you say anything else
    3) Lucians we should protest when our human rights and those of our country men are blatantly violated just imagine what would happen if there were no onlookers
    4) the commissioner of police should immediately come on the media to condemn this kind of behavior on the part of his officers. Just imagine what the US state department would think of this incident and what other sanctions that can be placed on our already financially deprived RSLPF

What I cannot understand with the biker you hit somebody vehicle you not stopping …that’s creating problems for yourself
No the police office self you didn’t have to take the law into your HAND like this .
.that is over doing it …there are other ways and mean of dealing with a hit and run ..you should be charge with exercising too much force .

Don’t play with people. Officer right.

What bothers me is, you shot the guy, why not call and ambulance to transport him to the hospital rather than put him in the back of the police vehicle like some pig you have just slaughtered. This (Word removed) is being repeated ever so often and no one is speaking against this.

Stop looking at it as a police officer taking the law into his own hands and look at it as a man that just got his vehicle hit and was upset.I have seen normal ppl grab cutlass to chop each other when they get into accident and the person stops. If more civilians had guns you would hear of many more incident like these. First of all,if you’re not ready to deal with a motor vehicle accident you shouldn’t be on the road. Anger got the best of the officer but I’m sure most of you’ll would want to kill Anna that knock your ride and drive away. Smh

Isn’t anyone going to address that a police officer is shooting whilst driving on a public road in a community with pedestrians? Would he discharge his firearm in a crowd if the suspect was near one?

The blame game is in full effect on here. Even many who have apportion blame on the biker turns around and lash the police. For those who claimed they witnessed and have shared their views on here the responsible thing is to avail yourself as a tool in the arm of Justice. As a citizenry we are too quick to pass judgements without facts. We appear to be defending wrong yet condone it at the same time. Such a vicious society.

thats good the police shot him. y’all judge to quickly. nuff times people did hit and runs and no justice (never got to know who). right or wrong… it could have been a citizen that had the gun. i think its good someone was made an example of. what if it was you? what if it was a minor whom got knocked down? y’all always want to put sides for criminals thats why crime will always be persistent . Besides he was only shot in the leg. i dont like cops because of some dirty ones but for this situation i will say “GOOD JOB”.

as a vehicle owner, i need a question answered ,someone hits my vehicle and tries to flee the scene what should i do ?
A – stay there like a pussy call 911 and hope the police come in time to catch the bike bandit.
B – take action for the damage to my vehicle after i have loan to pay, woman or women to feed, child to maintain, house to take care of and work my ass off to get by.

just saying police officers are people, although there are some jackasses in the force. my boy what happen to you is not right but if you did hit or damage someones property you should have just manned up and stayed on the scene .
