WASCO water supply update for November 14, 2016

The level of Reservoir at John Compton Dam has been recorded at 333.3 feet today, November 14th, 2016. This represents a decrease of 0.2 feet from our previous recorded level yesterday, November 13th, 2016. The level on this date last year, November 14th, 2016 was 333.4 feet.

Spill over is at 333.0 feet

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of water schedules for communities in the Northern part of the island, for today Monday 14th November,  2016:

Water Supply for Today November 14th, 2016 – Hill 20 System

 

  • La Borne
  • Des Rameaux, Ti dauphin, Morne Citon, Ravine Ma Cok, Malgretoute and environs
  • La Guerre, Family Lane and Savanne eh Haut

 

Water Supply Forecast – Babonneau (Hill 20 System)

 

  • Upper Desableau will be supplied from tonight, November 14th, 2016.
  • Lower Boguis& Lower Desableau will be tomorrow night November 15th, 2016.
  • Lower La Croix, Lower Paix Bouche will be supplied on Wednesday 16th, 2016.
  • Upper Garand from Resina Junction upwards will be supplied from Thursday November 17th, 2016.
  • Lower Garand inclusive of Resina will be supplied on Friday November 18th, 2016.

 

Please note as a result of rainfall received from November 9th to November 11th, 2016 the Raw water system at Babonneau were affected so areas which were scheduled to receive water could not be supplied.  These customers will be given to priority over the next few days.

Please note the aforementioned are subject to change based on the availability of Water supply, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

  • Delcer: Clogged intake/main (Currently under investigation)
  • Saltibus Upper:  In operation; lower system will be fed from this system
  • Saltibus Lower: Damaged 6” raw water main

  • Grace: In operation
