NWU negotiations with Cadasse completed

Press Release:-Negotiations between the Management of Cadasse Brothers Limited and the National Workers Union (NWU) have reached a satisfactory settlement.

Over sixty (60) workers employed within the company’s bakery operations will benefit from the new industrial accord. They will receive a lump sum payment ranging from $250.00 to $400.00, an $80.00 wage increase in Year One along with a $20.00 wage increase in Year Two. Fringe concessions include Overtime, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, Meal Allowance, Trade Union Education Leave and guarantee of a forty-hour (40) work week.

The company and the NWU will be signing the new agreement soon.
