A Bexon minibus driver had to be rushed to hospital after reportedly being stabbed this evening around 7:00 p.m. by unknown assailants.
According to information obtained by the Times, after being stabbed the driver attempted to drive off with a full load of passengers but the bus crashed unto a concrete barrier near the Vendors Arcade in Castries.
An eyewitness told the Times it seemed that the driver was not aware of how badly he was injured.
According to the eyewitness, the driver was standing at the bus stand when a group of young men who were passing bumped into him.
There was, the eyewitness said, a brief exchange of words, after which the bus driver was stabbed and the young men ran off into the night.
The driver was identified only as “Rufus” of Marc.
