Trinity Lutheran Church sponsors cleanup

Press Release:-Castries, Saint Lucia, Thursday December 15th 2016 On Saturday December 17th, Trinity Lutheran Church in beautiful Bisee will be hosting a community clean up day.

Starting at 9:00 AM, Trinity is inviting members of Trinity Lutheran Church, the community of Bisee, and anyone else who wants to do something positive for their country to pitch in and do a little Christmas cleaning.

All interested parties are asked to assemble by 9:00 AM in the Trinity Lutheran parking lot.

Trinity Lutheran Church is located up the Bisee gap just before the factory shells.

Ladies from one of the small group Bible studies will be hosting food and drinks for those who are participating.

“Sometimes in our communities today, we get into a habit of blaming one another. The government should be doing more… or the churches should be doing more …. Or individuals should be doing more. Well, maybe everyone is right. Let’s do more. Trinity Lutheran has taken on an initiative to do more starting in the neighborhood of Bisee,” says Pastor Tom Spiegelberg. “Two years ago Sandals took the initiative and cleaned up a corner of Bisee where people from outside of the community would continually throw their trash. Sandals did a great job. We want to carry on in that spirit.”

Trinity Lutheran Church is a protestant Christian church. Trinity Lutheran also plays host to TLC Early Childhood Development Centre, a preschool for children ages 3 to 5.
