Child injured in row between adults

A child is reported to have been  unintentionally injured in a row between two adults at New Extension,Micoud, on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at about 3:15 am,according to information obtained by the Times.

The child was described as a four year old female.

It is alleged that the row between the two adults escalated to the point where one attempted to strike the other with a cutlass and missed, resulting in injury to the young girl.

The child, who sustained a laceration to the face,  was transported to hospital by ambulance, it is reported.

A source familiar with the incident however told the Times that the injury was “not bad.”
