Chamber members mourn the passing of a distinguished member

The Board of Directors and members of The St Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture wish to express our profound empathy on the passing of long standing Chamber member and great stalwart of the business community; Mr. Christopher Renwick on Saturday 17th December in Trinidad after a short illness.

An accomplished entrepreneur and business leader Mr. Renwick has played a critical role in the economic landscape of this country and also as a role model for many young and aspiring entrepreneurs.

In 2008 he was recognized with the award of an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours for his contribution in the field of business and in 2015 he received the Honourary Award at the St Lucia Business Awards hosted by the St Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture.

Mr. Renwick was a reserved, simple and conservative man who sought neither publicity nor fame but went quietly about his business, working hard and helping others do well whenever he could.

On behalf of the entire business community, we extend condolences to his wife Mrs. Marjorie Renwick, his daughter Cheryl, his son Stephen and the entire family on the loss of their loved one.

May God continue to comfort you during this difficult time.
