Code of Conduct for Doctors in Barbados CODE OF CONDUCT is being put in place for hundreds of doctors, an action Minister of Health John Boyce said he would like to see replicated in other areas of the health care system.

He made specific mention of having a similar document for nurses and those involved in paramedical services during Tuesday’s launch of the Barbados Medical Council’s code of conduct at the Ministry of Health.

The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP), which was due to officially receive a copy of the document, was not represented.

Though he expressed disappointment in the no-show, Boyce and chairman of the council, Dr Charles Edwards, said there was full support from BAMP, with representatives being integrally involved in the process.
