The 1st baby born on Christmas day at Victoria Hospital is a girl, hospital officials have told the Times.
The child was born to Cornelius Bennett,34, and Zena Joseph, 31.
The baby came into the world at 1:30 am, weighing 2.43 kilos.
The mother, who already has an eleven year old boy, told the Times that the newborn’s birth was not ‘really difficult’ compared to the birth of her son.
The proud father, who is involved in Agriculture Marketing, said the couple wants to make sure that they raise their newborn daughter in the right way.
While the interview was being conducted, baby Xernia slept peacefully in daddy’s arms.
There were three Christmas day babies born at Victoria hospital this year, officials have said.
