  1. Again the price of OIL is at a 3 month low and is lower than the last adjustment, yet still no difference in gas price.

  2. WTI OIL price per barrel
Start of Russian Invasion of Ukraine on February 24th 2022 – US$95
    September 27th 2023 – US$95
    October 15th 2023 – US$88
    November 15th 2023 – US$76
    December 11th 2023 – US$71

The price of gas in Saint Lucia has not changed from $16.50 in over 6 months. Who are the people profiting from this because its not the regular Saint Lucian.

  3. Some people just don’t understand… Lets consider the following:

Price of fuel in the US ranges between US$2.50 – $5.06
Price of fuel in the virgin Isnads – Between US$4.50 – $5.00
Price of fuel in Dominica – US$5.17
Price of fuel in Barbados – US$2.01
Price of fuel in St. Lucia – US$6.07
Price of fuel in St. Vincent – US$6.27

The prices listed may have changed as of now however, we can see that St. Lucia is not too far off as it relates to the price of petrol. And of course, as with anyone else, any respite would certainly be appreciated.

  4. Yeah that’s how they put you first. Government make no less than $4.00 per gallon, it’s sickening

  5. With the price of fuel decreasing on the world market constantly for the past 9 months, one would have expected with the Christmas season and the added burden of a 2.5 levy. The government would at least give us some restbite. I don’t know what the users of the 100lb cylinder have done to this government but as one of them I would like to plead on all of us behalf. Mr Pierre and your government stop making us pay over the odds to satisfy the other consumers. Every adjustment when all prices remain the same or decrease, the price of the 100lb cylinder increases.

  6. Again people with 100 lb cylinders are punished! We are not all rich! ALL cylinders should be increased or decreased.

  7. So how much will be the price of these products in Nigeria since the dollar is not stable. It keeps on chaning every minutes

  8. Putting you worse! Every ministry has a consultant and an ex media PR person and it’s the people who have to suffer with unconscionable taxes and outrageous fuel costs.

And then they piss in our eyes with tiny trinkets to secure votes instead of crafting policies which redound to the benefit of all.

  9. PJP made $70 million Dollars in revenue more than budgeted last year on fuel tariffs but yet still he’s shafting us with over $4 going into the coffers on every gallon of gas purchase. For context without the government profit gas can be sold at $12/ gallon and not $16.50. Let that sink in! And from the government that’s putting you first.

  10. @Mind’s eye. Why didn’t you ask Chas to do the same when he was in power. Instead, he added to the “burden” by adding the “road tax” on fuel. That was just after he removed the 2.5% VAT. That was your bélélésh.
