Driver and passenger injured in collision

The driver of a Toyota Hiace panel vehicle and a passenger were injured Thursday morning after the van ran off the road, the Times has been informed.

The vehicle, PA3222, was seen on the left side of the road North bound near a utility pole close to the Labour Department, Barnard Hill, it was reported.

A young male passenger was trapped in the front passenger seat and had to be extricated by Emergency Responders using specialized equipment.

The driver was reportedly able to get out of the vehicle unassisted before the arrival of the Emergency Responders.

According to information, the driver is believed to have sustained minor lacerations.

The trapped passenger who was freed from the vehicle was transported to Victoria Hospital.

Emergency officials said the driver lost control due to a brake failure.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service responded after receiving a distress call at around 11:25 am.

    Some drivers need to take their time wen driving cuz some of them drive as if they in a hurry to c if their gf or their wife cheating cuz the way they drive is ridiculous
