Man shot dead at Gros Islet

A young man is reported to have been shot dead at Gros Islet.

According to reports, the body of the young male was discovered in a house at the corner of Bridge and St George streets in Gros Islet town.

He was sitting on a chair.

Residents who heard gunfire at about 3:00 a.m. this Friday morning alerted the police who went to investigate and found the body.

The deceased has been identified as 21 year old Jeremy St Martin.
