Students of the Grande Riviere Primary School in Gros Islet on Friday launched an anti-bullying campaign aimed at highlighting bullying in schools, in the public domain and at home.
“We are educating the students about what makes up a bully, who is a bully and if they themselves are a bully,” one of the organizers said.
The children were reported to be very enthusiastic about the campaign which included a march.
Organizers have expressed the hope that other schools can join in and educate their students about bullying.
“We hope that this will become an annual activity where parents, teachers and students will get more involved,” an organizer said.
