A massive earthquake rocked Saint Lucia at approximately 3:54 pm today.
The quake rattled several parts of the Island including La Clery.
Houses and other buildings shook for several seconds.
The quake measured 5.8 on the Richter Scale according to the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO).
NEMO said the event was at a depth of 20 km, 120 km North East of Castries, 73 km North East of Fort de France, Martinique and 95 km East South East of Roseau, Dominica.
According to NEMO, there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
According to the organisation, reports indicate that the quake was felt throughout Saint Lucia.
