Motorist hospitalised after Roseau collision

A motorist, identified as 53 year old Theodore Charles, was hospitalised last night  complaining of  injury to his leg after a collision between the pickup van he was driving and a car.

According to information, the collision occurred at around 9 pm at the intersection of the Roseau stretch and the Coolie Town entrance.

It is reported that the pickup van was exiting Coolie Town when a collision occurred with a motor car heading North.

An eyewitness told the Times that the driver of the motor car appeared to have sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the pickup had to be stabilised by an ambulance crew before being taken to Victoria Hospital.
