Fire at Gros Islet Pre-School

A fire this afternoon at the Gros Islet Pre-School resulted in substantial damage to the office of the school Administrator, it has been reported.

Other parts of the the building were blackened by smoke.

According to reports, the Saint Lucia Fire Service responded with one fire truck after an alarm was raised at around 2:30 O’ clock.

The Gros Islet Pre-School, situated near the Gros Islet playing field, has an attendance of about seventy children aged up to five years, the Times has been informed.

The institution moved to its current location in 2013.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

    Wat a shame no one wants ti join the fire service, because it dont have drugs, all of the young women and men police force they running and join , so they could dip they dirty fingers in the money and the drugs; dirty police force; and kill people and getaway with it ; and prime minister talking about other countries wake up and smell the coffee u still sleeping on u; and this country supposed to be a tourist Country, sorry to say clean up your back yard first then u can talk out other countries; clean up your police force DIRTY POLICE MEN TAKEING BRIBES; shame on ST LUCIA one fire truck turn up wow
