Soufriere T20: Cool Breeze Challengers’ captain Dalius Monrose won the toss and chose to field.
Wickets for New D Knights kept tumbling at a regular rate due to efficient bowling and fielding, including a spectacular reaction bowler’s catch by Monrose.
A 6th wicket partnership partially buoyed the innings. Once this was broken New D’ Knights managed to only post up 91 all out in the full 20 overs.
A bright spark and top scoring with the bat was for New D’ Knights was Rajesh Frank with 24 runs off 29.
Top bowlers for Challengers were Dalius Monrose 2 for 10 and Quint Mesmain 2 for 19.
With a target of 92 runs Challengers hoped to make quick work of the task at hand.
Ames Augustin top scored with 31, Craig Emmanuel 30* and Julian Sylvester 28* were all it took to secure Challengers all the points.

New D’ Knights were not aided by their fielding in protecting the small but respectable total.
3 genuine catch chances, misfields and overthrows hurt them and could have turned the game on it’s head.
Something they will look to work on going into their Sunday clash with River Roots, a win both teams will want after tough starts in their first matches.
Cool Breeze Challengers wins by 9 wickets at 92/1 in 10.2 overs.
