St. Lucian man charged in connection with ATM scam in St. Vincent

Jammy Harry, a 22 year old St. Lucian man, has been charged as police continue an investigation into an ATM scam in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The crimes allegedly occurred in Kingstown, Barrouallie, Bequia and Calliaqua.

A total of EC$15,500 was allegedly stolen from Michelle Williams, Curvis Lewis and Willis Pope in separate incidents which occurred between March 10 and 12, 2017.

According to iWtiness News, Prosecutor Shamrock Pierre objected to bail while noting that because Harry is St. Lucian, he may pose a flight risk.

Harry has been taken into custody until the start of inquiries on April 20.

That’s all they gonna do go to another country and give St. Lucia a bad name. Like seriously what is happening to our young men of today they are committing crimes everyday killing one another. Our ratio of women are going down, will it be equal to the number of men in St.Lucia right now? Parents it is time to put down your feet with our kids growing up today on the media, fighting after school don’t you put kerfew on your kids. It is time to step up your game cause we don’t want to be losing them later on down the line.
