New executive for Writers’ Forum

Press Release:-The St. Lucia Writers forum has undergone a change in personnel who make up the executive members of the organization.

The Annual General Meeting for the Forum was held on Tuesday, March 14th at the usual gathering location, the Central Library in Castries.

Prior to the official elections of the new executive members, reports on the Forum’s growth and general activity in the year 2016 were given by the outgoing vice-president as well as the secretary (who retained his position).

The new executive members are slated to meet before the next meeting of members to discuss the way forward.

By the generally positive response to this week’s meeting, there is sure to be improvements and development for an already unified group of young and experienced writers.

Positions occupied are as follows:

  • President: Perlina Murray
  • Vice-President: Jessie Alexander
  • Secretary: Julian Jackson
  • Treasurer: Kerr Glasgow
  • Public Relations Officer: Imran St. Brice
