Press Release:-Continuing its efforts in support of the local community, Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa has joined the “Make it Happen” initiative spearheaded by first lady Raquel Du Boulay-Chastanet. This national fundraising programme was recently founded to address needs in small communities where funds are immediately required.
The first project underway implements the repair and renovation of the Gros Islet and Dennery fire stations as well as the Choiseul and Laborie Police Stations. Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa last week donated beds, furniture and televisions required especially for overnighting officers.
“Coconut Bay is honoured to participate in the “Make it Happen” initiative and to support our firefighters and police officers who provide vital safeguards for our communities,” says Karl Hellberg, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa. “We wish the First Lady success with this and future “Make it Happen” projects and playing our part.”
