St. Lucia Writers Forum to officially release ‘Opus Spectrum’ on Tuesday

The official annual publication from the St. Lucia Writers Forum, entitled ‘Opus Spectrum’, is set to be released to the public on Tuesday, March 21st at 7pm at the Castries Central Library.

The anthology which was due for release in December 2016 had some printing hitches. With these hurdles overcame the Writers Forum invites the public to gather with them to celebrate its triumph.

Nine members contributed to the second volume of the publication. A number of them are expected to read a piece each from the collection so that the audience can experience the true voice behind the written word.

This publication is the second volume subtitled, Poetic Journeys. The themes in this collection cover a wide range of subjects that include love, hate, war, abuse, nature and our day to day affairs.  The first, published in 2015 was fitting subtitled, The Initiation.

The 88 page publication will be sold at a special price of $20 on Tuesday and purchasers can have their copies autographed on the night.

The list of contributors to the anthology is Sherma Cenac-Modeste, Dawn French, Maria Dolor, Kerr Glasgow, Ashanti Prescott, Julian Jackson, Stanislaus Drapin, Gyanchand Rayman and Kensley Charlemagne.
