Drowning suspected in death of Micoud resident

Drowning is suspected in the death of a twenty year old resident of Up the Line, Micoud.

The body of Rockbert Winell Xavier was found floating near the shoreline in the sea at Up the Line, law enforcement officials told the Times.

The officials said he was wearing a pair of short pants and was shirtless.

According to the officials, Xavier was last seen at 8.am today when he left home telling his mother that he was going to visit his aunt.

His body was found at around 1:39 pm, it is reported.

A relative told the Times that Xavier is reported to have dived into the sea and hit his head on a rock.

According to the relative, the information the family received was that Xavier dived into the sea in an apparent attempt to rescue someone he believed had encountered difficulty.

    Micoud is not blight ..death is inevitable..Accidents etc..Accept that We live in a world where all these things happen..RIP cuz…May God give his parents strengh to cope

      Yes I agree. Who did he try to rescue and at what time? Did the person he attempted to rescue survive?

    Somebody find a Canadian tourist to frame for this drowning too. There was bound to be a Canadian somewhere in that part of the island when this happened.
