Personally I find that LUCELEC’s poles are too close to the road. The possibility of a soft impact is slim with all them poles by the side of the road.

The poles a to close to the roads in truth, it’s very reduces. Look at this way if there is an accident in u to try to avoid damaging u car u’ll go straight into a pole.

That is true… risk assessments. Poor engineering for safety!

If drivers are driving with due care and attention they may not run into utility poles. As well, it may very well be that these same utility poles, by sometimes acting as “barriers” to vehicles veering off the road, reduce the ultimate amount of damage if the vehicle were to run into a precipice.

Wait how can you hit a utility pole if it not on the road. Obviously u left the road and hit the pole. So many of us hv passed there and nvr hit any pole. So obviously u are the problem not the pole. Drive Lucians with due care attention i.e within 40mph,no cell phone and on the carriageway. No way u hitting a pole if your axle does not break or something mechanical wrong with the vehicle.
