PRESS RELEASE:-Nisso “Wild Kyd” Etienne of Saint Lucia, fighting a much requested rematch at middle weight 185 lbs fought against Andre “Titan” Stoute of Barbados, on Saturday the 13 May 2017; in the Spartan Caribbean Championship Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting event called “Unleashed” and won by a knock-out. Stoute is a mixed martial arts fighter known for his strength but Etienne made quick work of him, attacking him with a barrage of punches and combinations; effortlessly knocking him out in a matter of seconds: hungry for more looking on as Stoute toppled in defeat.
Louis André Murray fought in the co-main event in the light heavy weight division at 205 lbs against Kevin “Venom” Holder the Barbados number two light-heavy weight contender. Holder has also previously competed in Spartan’s last event ”King of the Cage”. Murray put up a good fight as the two men appeared evenly matched However, Holder’s experience proved to be the decider, overpowering Murray within the end of the first round to cause his submission.
Etienne a crowd favorite was approached by other promoters as scouts from ESPN and Ruff & Tuff promotions were said to be present looking on in amazement.
