Fatal Shooting at Marigot

PRESS RELEASE:-Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting incident which occurred at Marigot on Sunday, May 21, 2017 about 12:35 a.m.

Reports indicate that two masked men approached thirty two year old Chrishna Chester Wilson of Marigot and shot him once in the head.

Chester was at the time of the shooting seated on a public bench near an establishment along the Marigot Community Road.

He was transported via ambulance to the Victoria Hospital, where he received treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased would have celebrated his thirty- third birthday today Monday, May 22, 2017.

The Post Mortem Examination was conducted on Monday,
May 22, 2017 and revealed the cause of death to be traumatic brain injury secondary to gunshot wound to the head. The Post Mortem Examination was conducted by Dr. Heather Emmanuel.

This incident brings the number of homicides for 2017 to 23. Investigations into this incident are continuing.

    We need better policing in St Lucia,if anyone got caught with any firearm 15 years in prison. Also we need to bring back the death penalty.
