‘Motorcyclist in fatal hit-and-run has no heart’

The motorcyclist who  was involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident on Wednesday that claimed the life of former police officer, Joseph Altidore, has no heart, Altidore’s son, Corneil Altidore has told reporters.

The accident occurred near the Bank of Saint Lucia Gros Islet branch.

“You hit the man at the side of the road – I don’t care what your reason is; you stop – have a conscience,” the son said.

The younger Altidore asserted that justice will be served.

One suspect is currently in police custody in connection with the fatal accident.

The son said he heard about the death on his way to work.

He explained that because his father is a taxi driver, he  immediately assumed that the 74-year old was driving his vehicle at the time of the accident but was informed that the senior citizen was struck by a motorcycle.
