Authorities in St Vincent and the Grenadines have suspended the search for six people who have been missing at sea since June 3, according to published reports.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard said the search was called off pending further actionable information.
The group was reportedly travelling in a speedboat that disappeared during a trip from the southern Grenadine island of Canouan to Mustique, in the northern Grenadines, i-witness news reports.
According to reports, the occupants of the speedboat made a phone call to land saying that their boat was taking in water.
The boat was captained by 56-year-old Montgomery Hazel, and the other passengers were named as Claudia Williams, 43, Ned Da Souza, 43, and his wife, 39-year-old Charmaine Da Souza, Sheron Simmons, 44, and Josianne John, whose age was not disclosed.
Da Souza and Sheron Simmons are sisters.
