PRESS RELEASE:-SLADA (Saint Lucia Alzheimer’s & Dementia Association) co hosted by Age Caribbean Presents:
“A Positive Approach for Caregivers Conference”

This Saturday 1:30-3:30pm at SLHTA # 2 Alfiona Plaza upstairs (right behind Massy store / Rodney Bay)
This conference is for those who are caregivers, nurses and family members that cares for someone with those living with Dementia. The objective of this important gathering of caregivers and health care professionals will focus on the understanding and how to care and understand the world those live in that are afflicted with this disease. This understanding will lessen the stress of the caregiver by applying methods proven to make life easier for all. Along with Saint Lucia’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Professional and President of Saint Lucia Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association Nurse Posvar, will be Dr. James Bratt (Geriatric Psychiatrist Specialist from Trinidad & Tobago) will show what Dementia truly is and how it’s treated. As well as learn how to communicate more clearly and how to manage the difficult behavior associated with it so that a person can get practical insight on how to care for your loved ones with dignity.
