GIS:-Saint Lucia Will Recognize Contributions Made by Public Servants in the Development of the Country.
The Saint Lucia Public Service will join the United Nations in celebrating International Public Service Day (June 23). This occasion allows public servants to celebrate the values and virtues of public service and highlight the contribution made by the public sector in the development of the country. It also allows heads of agencies to recognize the achievements of public officers.
In commemoration, the Public Service Day planning committee has organized an Ecumenical Service under the theme “The future is Now: Accelerating Public Service Innovation.” The Ecumenical Service is scheduled for Thursday, June 22, at 9 a.m., at the Minor Basilica of the immaculate conception in Castries.
The Department of the Public Service extends an invitation to all permanent secretaries and heads of departments, and their staff to attend this important celebration.
