Poor man. You will go to jail for that because you are not rich and have stolen a few items but the rich man will embezzle millions and only pay a fine.

As true as what you say may be, the fact is he stole and you can’t just excuse him because others steal more then him. Its thinking like this that cause these thieves to like stealing, because they somehow somewhere someone will feel sorry for them. Weather they steal small or big they are thieves and I don’t feel sorry for none of them.

Where’s the list of items taken. Was it baby formula , rice and tuna fish or a bottle of bounty?

People are desperate and need help. Who is helping the poor? Life is so unfair …. Some have and some don’t have and it’s not their fault. Poor guy. I feel so sorry for him.

What explanation can you provide when it was happening under Kenny?

No, the point is, it’s people like you who were screaming “Kenny this” and “Kenny that” while believing this (crime) would never happen under a UWP admin. And look today, all crime is up and Hurricane Allen and his merry men are unable to put a handle on it.

It is y’all who were screaming “La Cobiniere must be fired” but what about the current minister? Must he now “go”?

No, the point is, it happens under both and even if Jesus Christ was PM, it would still happen.

So stop cawing and get off the tree you perched on.

This is exactly why things cost so much in St. Lucia. Niggers that steal, drive up the cost for the rest of us. This is not a victimless crime. Get educated you sympathizing idiots!

People stop saying st Lucia is hard. Back in the days when there was no work there was less killing and stealing. We used to go in the bush and dig the yams, plant the banana, and get mango, you name the rest. Put the sardine to dry. Kill the years chicken. What’s up with that now? St.Lucia is no harder than America. Please find a way, ask someone, don’t steal.

Where in the world is life easy ….we should not condone wrong. Trust me I have lived in the US for a long time and if I do not work I will not eat. Civil servants in St. Lucia can retire at 55. The rest of the world is sixty five ..come on stop acting like St. Lucia is harder than the rest of the world. On the contrary it might even be easier.

In the UK we have food banks for the poor, why has no-one thought of that in St Lucia? Rich help the poor. Baby formula, cereal, flour etc etc

@Julie Will you be willing to pay for that with an increase in tax for every st lucian? Plus how many lazy people would stop working and head there for free food?

Why are people so negative? the food provided at food banks are provided by the donations from private citizens not from taxes from the government. Also people will not leave their jobs just to get a few groceries a month how will they pay their bills and expenses. Stop shutting down any positive ideas for improving St.Lucia

So unemployment on the decline and crime (shoplifting) on the increase. Oh what a tangle web we weave when first we practice how to deceive.
