Minister in the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Co-operatives, Senator Jimmy Henry, has signalled his intention to resign, well placed government sources have told the Times.
According to the sources, the matter is due to be discussed Friday with Prime Minister, Allen Chastanet, who returned home Thursday from a meeting of CARICOM leaders in Grenada.
“I don’t know the details,” one source said.
Contacted by the Times Friday morning, Henry said he had no comment to make.
Henry contested the Dennery North seat in the last general elections and lost to Shawn Edward of the Saint Lucia Labour Party.
