Jimmy Henry Resigns

Jimmy Henry Resigns

The Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Jimmy Henry has resigned following reports that he was stopped and searched at the George Charles Airport recently.

Henry announced his resignation today in a carefully crafted 1:26 minute video posted on social media.

He attributed his decision to “personal reasons” which he said was taking attention away from his Ministerial duties.

“For reasons altogether personal, I have decided to tender my resignation with immediate effect from the senate and as a Minister. Due to these personal matters at this time, I am unable to give the attention necessary to my Ministerial duties,” Henry said.

He thanked his supporters in Dennery and said he would continue to maintain a keen interest in the development of the community.

Former UWP Government Minister Richard Frederick had alleged on his television talk show that Henry was stopped at George Charles Airport and questioned about an undisclosed sum on money in his possession.

Henry contested the Dennery North seat in the last general elections and lost to Shawn Edward of the Saint Lucia Labour Party.

And the hierachy of the police force from the Minister downwards, denied the allegations. Wow, when will we know the truth on any matter in this land. An island lead by a pack of LIARS, never seen this before. St. Lucia is in for a tough ride from the Devil and his angels.

Note well Anonymous idiot… Milton Desir denied that there was an ongoing investigation. Stopping someone and questioning doesn’t necessarily mean that there is reason to investigate further. The commissioner also stated that he has no knowledge of a warrant being issued for the interception of the telephone calls (like Richard indicated) The minister did indicate that he would not have knowledge of every investigation that may be in progress and also that he was not in a position to comment on whether or why Jimmy may have resigned. Take your time and analyze correctly. Also, you should find out from Richard, what amount of cash was jimmy stopped with (if any) and whether or not it amounted to the limit that deems it illegal

Ikr..people just like to run with a story..this investigation could have been done without the RSLPF’s knowledge and it is well within their rights to do so.Customs for their own investigstions, so does immigration and the commissioner is not privy to all

Lose respect for what, if they were not privy to the investigation u wanted them to lie and say they were to save face because it would look bad that they didn’t know? Their statement says they were not aware of any ongoing investigation which means this department obviously excluded the force in their investigations. With their thinking that Milton and hermangild is UWP it could have been deliberately done that way

My, My. If Mr. Frederick’s allegation is true and the Minister of Legal Affairs and Mr. Desir high rankie of the police force has denied such what message are they sending out to our people particularly the youth. Tell me what confidence should we place on such individuals. Is it the low class and middle class that only have to be exposed when they have committed wrongful doings and the upper class are to be shield by those who are suppose to be transparent in all. As for the Minister that does not listen to what this particular host of this particular talk show has to say , does he still doesnt believe as he forms part of the lying group.
Can we please have fresh election in St. Lucia. by now every average clear thinking person as well as truthful persons in St. Lucia knows that we have made the greatest mistake in voting these set of politicians in office (Except Hon King). All the others are a disgrace to us. What example are we setting for our future generation. Crime is on the rise. We voted for more ching ching in our pockets but what are we seeing happening.
I thought Mr. haminggale Frances would make a difference since he knows the law and what it stands for but honestly he is a dissappointment. As for mR Desir and the Acting Commisssionner more disappointments. You guyts can never ever find a more trust worthy, adequately fitted police commissioner than former commissioner Francois. An innocent man crucified by his own set of judasis. That is what you all are paying for. The police force can never ever get better under the leadership of these guys who innocently crusified Francois for their own gains. God is dead and is still alive. Alleluah to him. Fellow St.Lucian let us keep on praying even more with faith that our God will let this 5 years go by like the blink of an eye. Too much evil in this land among our leaders. Biasness, jealousy, wickedness, envy lies in the hearts of these leaders of our land. may God bless and protect St. Lucia

I was hoping that the accusations against Mr. Henry were just mischief for I don’t wish misfortune to anyone. This wound to Jimmy was self inflicted. He has no one to blame but himself. I believe the power of the office got to his head. If you want to know a man’s true character, give him power. This is a sad state of affairs for the country. It’s demoralizing. As some have said, Ubaldus should be named persona non grata with the governing regime. It’s unconscionable to have this gravely immoral person as a Minister of Government. Keeping Ubaldus in government wreaks moral indignation.

Fastest way to pay a Bajan debt is to dispatch an expendable mule saddled with the payment to Barbados. In this case unfortunately, the haples mule couldnt be brieft about his mission and so when held and question was unable to explain, justify and account for his cargo.

The story don’t end there. The devil never goes back empty handed and so it wants its reward for its input in UWP’s campaign efforts at the last elections. But Mr. Henry don’t be despondent for your mates did their best to save you. In the end it was a case of either you or them. They chose you to be the sacrificial lamb. So now all you can do is to sit very still in the bucket down the well hoping some unlucky bastard will unwittingly jump in the other bucket and counterbalance you up the well thus taking your place down the cold, wet, dark and lonely. Oh………Ubaldus has no desire to join or exchange places with you.

“when the power of love overcomes the love of power then St.Lucia will know peace”.
Mr. Frederick I believe always know more to the information he gives out than we do. Remember that this gentleman is a lawyer and he knows how to disseminate information without jeapodizing himself. I am one that believes 98% of the info that he gives out. His checks are truthful even when being denied by the so call loyal and transparent leaders. Thank you Mr frederick for enlightening us because without you that would have been swept under the capet without us being any wiser to the deeds of our countries leaders. Keep up the good work. Remember Mr. Frederick and my fellow St. Lucians that prayer can move mountains and that who god bless man cant curse because gods shield will be protection.

As for Mr Desir are you seriously considering being police commissioner. God forbid. If you cannot be truthful now and can practise telling lies then its no wonder crime is on the rise. I am disappointed in you and I don not think that you are fit to be police commissioner. As for Mr. moncherry I think you should take early retirement because I dont see you doing a better job.
Wev want to see a better, more productive , crime fre St.lucia. It is our duty to work together to acheive such but if our leaders cannot practise such then it is hopeless to believe that St.Lucia will become a better country.

Trusting God Always, I would like to inform you CoP Mr.Desir was asked, “IS THERE ANY INVESTIGATION INTO THE MINISTER’S CONDUCT?” Mr.Desir gave the right answer. My reason for saying so is because you never disclose confidentially information. The so called news reporters never ask him the direct question which was required of them (REPORTERS). The question to Mr.Desir should have been, “DID THE MINISTER GOT STOP AT AN AIRPORT FOR SECONDARY CLEARANCE ? Please be advised I am no fun of CoP Mr.Desir but he said the right things as per the question. The so called media in St.Lucia is a joke, At no time as any reporter ask the direct question to Minister Ubaldus Raymond. Here is the question that must be ask of Minister Raymond, “Mr.Minister are these photos a true resemblance of you? Mr.Minister are the background of these photos a true resemblance of your office with the St.Lucia flag? “

Seems St. Lucians have a hard time with the English Language. I never heard or read Mr. Desire or Mr Francis say that Jimmy Henry did or did not do something. The Commissioner said his Police Department was not in receipt of any report nor was there an ongoing investigation into the Minister, Mr Francis said he too was unaware of any such investigation. Now the Police and the Customs are separate entities. Customs can carry out its own investigations and in some matters of enforcement have more clout than the Police. So can it be that since according to what I gathered here the information is that a Customs Officer did the intercept, couldn’t it be that customs has chosen independence on the Police to take care of business themselves. Really people before you blow take a breathe. As for Frederick being a Lawyer, blah blah, he might well have interfered with an ongoing investigation and may by his stupidity derailed the investigation, and that amounts to an obstruction of Justice though it may be had to prove. Frederick not only has an axe to grind but not too long ago he was in bed with the UWP. I never heard him speak out on the issues that was wrong, Take for example, he says on hindsight he should have called the Police on Guy Joseph. Really, that’s tantamount to an admission that as minister I allowed corruption to flourish and did nothing. All of a certain you out and cat don’t have your tongue anymore. Really? People think!!! Think People!!!

If you don’t read how can you understand
statements were made by the police comissioner and then by the minister ,both saying that they have no knowledge of ANY INVESTIGATIONS either going on or taking place into the individual that was clea,r i understood what was said , But here we are making comments and linking what was said to what happened
are we not able to spot the difference or is it politics that have some of us so
